Description:   The Department of Veterans Affairs, Bay Pines Veterans Affairs Healthcare System (BPVAHS) located at 10000 Bay Pines BLVD, Bay Pines, FL 33637 intends to solicit a request for quote (RFQ) from contractors for Medically Enhanced Contracted Emergency Residential Services (CERS). The services shall be in support of eligible beneficiaries of the BPVAHCS under Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), contract type. The authority of for this procurement is Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items.The VA anticipates issuing an unrestricted solicitation for this requirement on or about June 01, 2023. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation, attachments, and any subsequent amendments from this website. No hard copies will be made available.Period of Performance: The anticipated period of performance for this contract will be from 09-01-2023 through 08-31-2024 for the base period.The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the responses to the RFQ submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) under the applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) Code. Contractors may obtain SAM information at https://sam.gov. Registration in SAM is free and potential Offerors are encouraged to visit the SAM website as no contract can be awarded to any Offeror not registered in SAM.gov.The NAICS Code for this procurement is 624221 (Temporary Shelters) with a Small Business Size Standard of $12 million. The classification code is G0004 Social Rehabilitation .
