Description:   Notice TextBID NOTICENOTICE INVITING BIDS for COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT (CFD) for GLADDEN FARMS COMMUNITY PARK DOG PARK in the TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONAPUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT SEALED PROPOSALS will be received at Rick Engineering Company, Inc., 3945 East Fort Lowell Road, Suite 111, Tucson, Arizona, 85712 , up to but no later than 10:00 AM, APRIL 22, 2022 Arizona local time, at which time they will be publicly opened and read for the work generally described as follows:GLADDEN FARMS COMMUNITY PARK DOG PARKGrading, Utilities, Paving, Landscaping, and Lighting for Gladden Farms Community Park Dog Park all in accordance with the Plans, Specifications, Special Provisions and other Contract Documents. THE PROJECT PLANS, SWPPP REPORT, SOILS REPORT, SPECIAL PROVISIONS, AND OTHER CONTRACT DOCUMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PICKUP ON MARCH 21, 2022 , AT RICK ENGINEERING COMPANY, INC., 3945 EAST FORT LOWELL ROAD, SUITE 111, TUCSON, ARIZONA, 85712.No bid will be accepted unless it is made on the Bidder's Proposal Forms within the Contract Documents furnished by Rick Engineering Company, Inc. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, cashier's check, certified check, or Bidder's Bond from an Arizona Surety, payable to GLADDEN PHASE II, L.L.C., in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Failure to execute the Construction Contract Agreement and/or submit the required Performance Bond, Payment Bond, Insurance Certificates or all other required documents to the Owner within ten (10) working days after the date of the award of the Contract may be just cause for the annulment of the award and forfeiture of the proposal guarantee.One (1) complimentary set of Contract Documents, including Project Plans, SWPPP Report, Soils Report, and Special Provisions, but excluding the Pima Association of Governments (PAG) Standard Details and Standard Specifications, may be obtained from Rick Engineering Company, Inc., 3945 East Fort Lowell Road, Suite 111, Tucson, Arizona 85712. All additional sets of Contract Documents, as described hereinabove, may be purchased for a non-refundable fee of $100.00 each. Complete sets of Bidding Documents shall be used in preparing Bids; neither Owner nor Engineer assumes any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents. Owner and Engineer, in making copies of Bidding Documents available on the above terms, do so only for the purpose of obtaining Bids on the work and do not confer a license or grant for any other use.A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE IS SCHEDULED FOR 10:00 AM, MARCH 25, 2022, RICK ENGINEERING COMPANY, INC., 3945 East Fort Lowell Road, Suite 111, Tucson, Arizona, 85712 . Bidders must be present at this meeting in order to be eligible to submit a Bid.The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity, informality or technicality in any bid to the extent permitted by law.
