Description:   LEGAL NOTICE # 21749311 NASSAU COUNTY DEPARTMENT OFLegal Notice # 21749311 NASSAU COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RFP No. PW-S3C067-08M The Nassau County Department of Public Works intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for construction management services in connection with the following: CEDAR CREEK WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT (WPCP) SECONDARY TREATMENT IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT The Department of Public Works desires to retain a Firm to provide Construction Management Services in connection with the Cedar Creek WPCP Secondary Treatment Improvements Project. Sealed Proposals regarding this project are due on or before 4:00 P.M. on Friday, November 18, 2022 at the location specified within the RFP. No late proposals will be accepted. Interested firms may attend a site walkthrough at 10:00AM on October 26, 2022. Prospective proposers are to meet at the Cedar Creek WPCP, Building A Lobby, located at 3340 Merrick Road, Wantagh, NY 11793. Attendees are required to wear hard hats, safety vests, safety glasses, and safety boots during the walk through. Please note that this is not the Request for Proposals. Vendors doing business with Nassau County, including those responding to this solicitation, must register with the County. The Nassau County Bid Solicitation Boards are open to all registered vendors. Vendors that have not registered are able to view open solicitation opportunities, but they are not able to download solicitation documents or submit bids or proposals. The selected firm will be required to provide proof of general and professional liability insurance in the minimum amounts of $2,000,000 in the aggregate and $1,000,000 per occurrence, respectively. The successful Proposer will be required to comply with the requirements of Local Law No. 14-2002, "Participation by Minority Group Members and Women in Nassau County Contracts" and Local Law 2-2016, "Participation of Service-Disabled Veterans in County Contracts". All Proposers should review the provisions of Appendix EE (included as an attachment to the RFP) which outlines the requirements of Local Law 14-2002. Technical proposals shall include information regarding the Proposers plan to comply with Local Law No. 14-2002.
